    Hello,

I am looking for the pattern for an older Carlton Powerblade Superlite (72 holes). I cannot seem to find it anywhere. Someone asked in the sticky topic http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...-Badminton-Stringing-Pattern-all-models/page5 but did not get an answer.

I am aware that it is a cheap raquet - are there usually no "official" patterns for the cheaper ones, and do you just wing it? I also tried to contact Carlton, but their website is half broken and the contact addresses I found are only for sponsorship...

I'll happily add information to the sticky if I get it - just asking in a new topic to avoid spamming that other one.

    Thanks in advance!

It's a normal 72 pattern. Old Yonex (bottom-up) pattern or a normal one-piece pattern will do the job.

Looks like a pretty standard 72 hole pattern with 22 mains and 23 crosses. So I would just go with the standard Yonex 2-piece pattern as seen in post #2 of your linked thread ("Other Rackets"). No special magic needed really.

Just to add a third opinion, go with the Yonex pattern :)

If you really want the Carlton, see the Carlton PDF I posted in the sticky - I think the Ignite series use the same pattern as the Powerblade.
